Google Earth!

I really like Google earth in general, but as a classroom tool I feel like I can use it in many different ways as well. When it come to teaching English, there are always many different settings featured in novels, with Google Earth I could at least illustrate these settings to the students so that they would have a better idea of what they are reading about. I enjoy playing around with Good Earth so I can easily see how distracting it would be for a classroom full of students to get distracted by being able to see their and their friend's houses. It is a great opportunity for students to see what they are reading about instead of just having to imagine and place the characters there.
